Hat and socks for a new baby!

My sister is expecting a baby boy any day now, so I've finally finished a little present for him! The hat is crocheted in Merino wool and the socks are knitted using untreated Merino wool.
My sewing-machine is still in a box on its way to Wales, so no sewing for a while. Cannot wait to get sorted and move into the new house!

Christmas Hearts

We are currently moving to Wales! So no time for sewing at the moment. The only things I have had time to make are some small crocheted hearts. They are made of 100% red cotton from Panduro. I've made some with a loop so they can hang on the tree. I'm planning to make a border along the bottom of a white curtain with the ones without loops. However, that will probably be ready for next Christmas.

I learned to crochet these hearts from my sister!

Light blue wrist-warmers with dark blue border

Light blue wrist-warmers made of Polar fleece. The border and flower are crocheted using dark blue alpaca wool.

White wrist-warmers with black hearts

These are also made of Polar fleece with wool hearts. The wool varies in thickness, which created quite a nice effect.

Red wrist-warmers with white hearts

The frost has definitely come to Aviemore now, so time for warm & snug wrist-warmers. These are made of red Polar fleece, tried not to make them too Christmasy - so it will be possible to wear them after Christmas to. The hearts are made of white wool.

Green & white wrist-warmers

These green and white wrist-warmers are crocheted using wool from Askeladden, which is a mix of merino wool and silk. The wool is untreated and very soft, but at the same time strong because of the silk. Maybe not as warm as the wrist-warmers made of fleece, but I hope they will look good with a black coat.
