Hearts

Crocheted hearts in various colours. Must say red is my favourite colour - and they look really good on the Christmas tree!

Cheating bag

This is a present for one of my daughter's friends! However, I've cheated - as the bag was bought in the sale (got an application of Little Red Riding Hood on the other side). But I cut up the sides of the bag so I could sew on Amy-Ella's name - so make it a bit more personal! Hope she likes it.

Eskimo wristwarmers

Made these wristwarmers a while ago - but have started using them now!
They are knitted using Eskimo 100% wool, needle size 10mm. They are finished off with a needlebinded border, which makes them keep their shape.

Redesign: Jumper to dress!

I've got several old wolly jumpers I've saved - hoping one day I will be able to use them for something.. Yesterday I suddenly had some free time so turned two jumpers into a dress! The black jumper is from Marks & Spencer, the grey one is my husbands old jumper from Next. Both 100% wool.
I cut off the arms from the grey jumper, turned it upside down and sewed it onto the end of the black jumper which I had cut shorter. I also had a thin wool cardigan (not on the before photo) which I trimmed off about 10 cm and sewed this onto the bottom of the grey jumper. I sewed on a nice flower ribbon from Norway on the front. A really warm dress for the winter!

Kids wristwarmers

I made these wrist-warmers for my daughters' friend's birthday the other week. They are both crocheted using merino wool. The size is about 2-4 years. My eldest loved them so will have to make her a pair to!

Black shawl

Finally finished this black shawl! Started it a while ago, but run out of wool. So a big thanks to my friend Anne Gurine who bought me some more in Norway!!
It is crocheted using Sandnes Mini Alpakka black wool, no 3.5 hook. I followed this pattern from garnstudio - A dream come true - as they call it!!

Emma's bag

It was Emma's first day of nursery today, so she wanted a little bag for her things. She picked out the material (light pink cotton) herself (small offcuts from the local textile shop) and decided where the ribbons and beads where to go. The name is just painted on using textile paint. The day at nursery went well and she was pleased with the bag!
